Maria on Twitter : www.MariaReyesMcDavis.comIf you still think social media doesn’t matter to your network marketing business, or that all the time you spend paying for Google Adwords and search engine optimization is the best use of your time and money — you are becoming less on point as time goes by. The tide is turning ladies, has been for a while now. While search and old school tactics of online network marketing still have relevance, the value of it decreases exponentially as the world changes.
Cut to the Chase
Basically, social networks and other social media properties are becoming more important. So much so that studies across the Net are being published left and right showing that when you make social media an integral part of your online network marketing, there is a BIG pay off.
Most recently, data shows that traffic coming from social networks like Facebook and the like tend to be less in quantity, but better in quality. This is excellent news for network marketing Divas like yourself!
According to Chitika’s site, “The study, based on a sample of 33 million unique users across the Chitika publisher network in September, 2009, compared the number of visitors coming from major traffic sources – Digg, Facebook, Google, Yahoo!, Bing, and Twitter – to the number of times those visitors came back to the referred site. If a visitor came to the site four or more times over the course of a week, that visitor was considered a “loyal” user.”

Good News for Impact Divas
We’ve known all along — online marketing strategies that help you build relationships bring you better traffic, that turns into better leads. After all, does size REALLY matter? What’s the point in touting your large traffic numbers if none of them convert into anything?
We say, you have to be balanced in how you’re marketing your business online. Search is good, always good. Just understand the tide is changing, search is not the only game on the block and as we’re learning, it’s quickly becoming the least productive game for building your network marketing business.
Something to think about ladies
